Review: Munchkin Math Shapes

Munchkin Math Shapes is for 2 to 8 year olds. Unlike other educational DVDs which show a shape and says its name, Munchkin Math Shapes uses rhymes, chants and hand movements. This interactive approach makes it easier for young children to learn and retain information. A sample chant is "a pentagon has 5 5 5 sides." The DVD includes two cute characters, Zoid and Pent. Young children perform the chants and hand movements.

This DVD teaches:
- Basic Shapes - Square, Triange, etc.
- Advanced Shapes - Rhombus, Trapezoid, Pentagon, etc.
- 2D and 3D Shapes - Cylinder, Cube, etc.
- Open and Closed Shapes

This DVD is 22 minutes in length. I highly recommend Munchkin Math Shapes. My daughter loves it and is quickly learning the concepts.
